Welcome to the Information Website for the Senegal, et al. v. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Settlement.
This website contains important information regarding the race discrimination class action settlement in Senegal, et al. v. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. The Settlement provides a Settlement Fund of $19.5 million and a Diversity and Reserve Fund of $4.5 million for a class of African American and/or Black Financial Advisors, Financial Advisor Associates, Senior Financial Advisors, and Private Client Advisors (collectively, “Advisors”) who were employed at Chase at any time from April 13, 2013 through September 12, 2018 to resolve alleged claims of race discrimination and retaliation. The Settlement also provides programmatic relief to increase opportunities for current Advisors who are African American and/or Black.
The Court granted final approval of the Settlement on December 20, 2018 and authorized the Notice and this website to inform Class Members of their rights and options under the Settlement. If you would like to view the Notice of Final Approval, click here.
